9 and 16 August 2019

Saxophone is commonly associated with popular music. The instrument invented in the first half of the 19th century by Adolf Sax quickly found its way to military bands and ensembles, as well as popular music bands, to later become a part of the music revolution – the emergence and development of jazz. This time, you will have the opportunity to listen to Classicpair playing the saxophone in a classic way and “accompanied” by a piano. The concert will feature songs by David Maslanka, Frederic Devreese, Somei Satoh and Robert Muczynski, with the stars glowing over our concert hall.
