Planetarium shuts for maintenance break in April

During these three weeks, we will install six new 8K resolution projectors. This means 16 times more pixels than in a full HD TV! From April 27, all our shows will be presented in a stunning new quality that will let you dive into Space like never before! We will celebrate this big change with a premiere showing of the latest film produced by the Heavens of Copernicus studio. Hello Earth will take you on a journey through the history of communication – from the mythical Tower of Babel to space probes that carry information from humans through the Universe.

Entrance zone to the Copernicus Science Centre will also change and become more spacious, more clearly marked and more convenient.

Changes in the Planetarium are a part of the Copernicus Science Centre improvement process, which was initiated in 2015.
